Dr Muhammed Aydin is a Specialist Cardiologist with more than 30 years of
international medical experience across Australia, Türkiye and Iran. His career has
encompassed general cardiology, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure
and cardiac transplantation, clinical leadership, university teaching and medical
education.

After completing his medical degree at Iran University of Medical Sciences, Dr Aydin
undertook specialist cardiology training at Ankara University and Cebeci Heart
Centre. He subsequently worked for many years as a consultant and interventional
cardiologist, including serving in senior clinical leadership roles and as Head of
Cardiology.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Aydin held active educational roles within
universities and teaching hospitals in Türkiye. He contributed to the training and
supervision of medical students, junior doctors and cardiology trainees through
clinical teaching, bedside education, case-based discussions and professional
mentorship. This academic experience continues to shape his structured, evidence-
based approach to cardiovascular assessment and patient care.

Now practising in Australia as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of
Physicians, Dr Aydin provides comprehensive assessment and management across
a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including chest pain, coronary artery
disease, hypertension, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, valvular heart disease
and cardiovascular risk prevention.

Dr Aydin combines extensive clinical experience with a thoughtful, evidence-based
and patient-centred approach. He places particular importance on listening carefully,
explaining medical findings clearly and developing practical treatment plans tailored
to each patient’s individual needs.

He also values close collaboration with general practitioners and other specialists,
ensuring continuity of care and clear communication throughout each patient’s
treatment journey.
